IEEE 802.3 CSMA/CD Networking

The IEEE standard that specifies a network that uses a logical bus topology, baseband signaling, and a CSMA/ CD network access method. This is the standard that defines Ethernet networks. See also Carrier Sense Multiple Access/Collision Detect.
