Quarter one sees an increased demand for Hughes Electronics rapid response production facility in central London.
Originally set up for small-volume last-minute requirements, the rapid response unit has become increasingly in demand to satisfy clients’ early delivery requirements for volume contracts, necessitating the addition of two new staff to our team.
Identical production methods, raw materials, work instructions and quality procedures are used in all Hughes facilities, meaning that the London team can start seamless deliveries for volume contracts on a next day basis if necessary to get the job running until volume deliveries arrive from our low-cost facility in China.
Sales executive Jackie explained, "By amortising price points in both cost centres we can provide a lean, mean price to our clients... We are able to take advantage of the benefits of both locations - rapid response and low cost. Hughes clients really can have the best of both worlds."
