The training course helps delegates to understand the background, history and technical aspects of data cable and connector components in Local Area Networking and provide them with all the information necessary to install data cabling and equipment to the highest of professional standards up to and including Cat6a and ISO11801 Ed.2 (so called cat 7). Delegates will be taught how to design, install, test and commission LANs and ascertain compliance to the relevant standards.
Aims of Accredited Installer Training
To enable candidates to safely install, test and commission computer network data cabling to TIA/EIA-568-B,TIA/EIA-568-B.1,TIA/EIA-568-B.2, ANSI/TIA-568-C.0, ANSI/TIA-568-C.1, ANSI/TIA-C.2 and ISO11801 Ed.2 specifications. Accredited delegates must demonstrate that they can meet all the requirements to provide clients with a full 15 year warranty on the performance of the LAN.
