Quad g.703 balun cable assemblies – Less cost- More performance

Hughes Electronics remarkable track record for taking out cost whilst increasing performance is clearly demonstrated once again in this high performance balun product.

 

Designed especially for 4G applications, g.703 balun leads consisting of four coaxial mini baluns to one RJ45 connector perform in all environments from E1 to E3, they can be manufactured in any length and are designed to connect coaxial outputs from MUX (multiplexer) equipment to the E1 network and replace balun panels entirely.

Taking costly balun panels out of the channel equation saves time and money in the installation but perhaps more surprisingly increases efficiency and performance! More bandwidth is delivered within the channel segment because there are fewer transition (connection) points and that’s where the (dB) losses occur, by halving the number of transition points we halve the potential losses associated with connectors.

Hughes extend testing of our quad g.703 balun leads to include crosstalk tests and a performance guarantee, our products sit very happily in all environments, particularly E3 where they easily meet and exceed ITU-T g.703 recommendations at 34MHz.
